Upon acceptance of a contract, and prior to starting as a contractor on a client site, a Paxus account manager will meet with the contractor. The induction covers Paxus work practices as well as ensuring that the contractor understands their OH&S responsibilities.

This Important OHS Information (pdf) arms the contractor with the skills and knowledge to perform tasks safely and ensures that contractors are appropriately inducted into client sites.

For whatever reason, if an OH&S induction does not occur on the client site, the Paxus contractor can use this OHS Self Evaluation Checklist (pdf) to perform a self-evaluation of their work environment on the client site.

Paxus has also developed a number of tools to identify potential hazards and provide the contractor with the best possible information on health and safety in IT.
