Network Engineer
A leading Australian Telecommunications company has an urgent requirement for a Network Engineer to join their busy team on a 6 month contract.
The role is to provide desktop support for workstations, hardware and operating systems. You would also be involved with Windows admin and configuration, in addition to installing servers and systems. This is a great opportunity to build your experience dealing with vendors.
You will be measured against targets to get requests completed within agreed timeframes and the role will occasionally require 24/7 support.
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills;
- Significate Desktop support experience
- 3 years minimum IT experience
- Microsoft Server
- Experience in a shift environment
- HP and Dell hardware
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol
- SQL 2000
- ISA Server
- IIS knowledge
- Completed MCSE 2000 or 2003
- Superior communicator, both in verbal (face to face and over the phone) and written skills
