What we are looking for

  • 10+ years' experience in digital marketing working in an agency.
  • A proven history of effectively executing digital campaigns and initiatives across Paid Social, Paid Search, and Programmatic Media buying for diverse clients.
  • Experience in leading digital teams, managing cross-functional project groups, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent client service skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Leadership skill in conceptualizing and implementing high-level strategic initiatives that align digital marketing with the broader goals of the agency.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully driving strategic initiatives and adapting to the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
  • Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial management as they relate to digital projects and marketing campaigns.
  • Proficiency in measuring the effectiveness of digital strategies in terms of ROI and other performance metrics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex challenges in digital marketing.
  • Ability to foresee industry trends and align them with the agency's future growth.

There are 5 Parts to this role

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of Digital specialists. Create a dynamic team environment that encourages professional growth and innovation.
  • Foster ongoing education and training for team members to ensure they are proficient in the latest media buying tools and strategies.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members, helping them align with agency goals and improve their skills.

Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Design comprehensive media buying strategies that align with the client's marketing goals, focusing on maximizing ROI across paid search, paid social, and programmatic buying.
  • Allocate and manage budgets efficiently across campaigns and platforms to ensure optimal spend and performance. This includes forecasting and adjusting spends based on performance and market changes.
  • Implement cutting-edge technologies and methodologies in performance media. Regularly test and iterate on advertising approaches to stay ahead of industry trends and achieve the best results for clients.

Operational Management

  • Oversee the creation, execution, and optimization of media campaigns. This includes setting KPIs, continuous monitoring, and tweaking campaigns to ensure they meet or exceed these performance indicators.
  • Utilize advanced analytics to track campaign performance and generate insights. Prepare detailed reports for internal stakeholders and clients, illustrating campaign results and offering strategic advice based on data.
  • Ensure all media buying adheres to industry standards and best practices, including privacy laws and platform-specific guidelines.

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the senior point of contact for clients regarding performance media strategies. Regularly update clients on campaign progress and strategic shifts.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and tailor media buying strategies to their specific needs.
  • Quickly address any client concerns or issues that arise related to media campaigns, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.

Industry Engagement

  • Establish oneself and the agency as thought leaders by contributing to industry publications, speaking at conferences, and participating in webinars.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media vendors, platform representatives, and industry peers to leverage for better service and insights.
