Job description

Do you possess a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring flawless software delivery? Are you a seasoned Test Manager with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and exceeding project goals? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team at a leading government agency!

In this critical role, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the integrity of our IT systems. You will:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies, ensuring all aspects of software functionality are rigorously evaluated before deployment.
  • Lead and oversee the testing process across multiple projects, prioritising tasks and managing resources effectively.
  • Foster strong collaboration with diverse teams, including developers, security specialists, and business stakeholders.
  • Clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Identify and resolve defects to ensure optimal system performance and user experience.

To be successful, you will possess:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Test Manager, with a proven ability to manage and deliver successful testing projects.
  • Must Be Brisbane Based
  • Proficiency in secure web gateway (SWG) and integrated security service products (e.g., Netskope).
  • Experience with endpoint protection products like SentinelOne.
  • Familiarity with security testing extensions such as CT-ST.
  • Working knowledge of contemporary technologies and platforms, including Azure, AWS, HTML5, and Selenium.
  • In-depth understanding of testing methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall approaches.
  • Experience utilising test recording tools and managing test lab environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport across all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

Qualifications and Experience (Preferred):

  • Recognised testing qualification (ISTQB, CSTE, etc.)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
  • Basic understanding of HTML5
