In this critical role, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the integrity of our IT systems. You will:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies, ensuring all aspects of software functionality are rigorously evaluated before deployment.
- Lead and oversee the testing process across multiple projects, prioritising tasks and managing resources effectively.
- Foster strong collaboration with diverse teams, including developers, security specialists, and business stakeholders.
- Clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Identify and resolve defects to ensure optimal system performance and user experience.
To be successful, you will possess:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Test Manager, with a proven ability to manage and deliver successful testing projects.
- Must Be Brisbane Based
- Proficiency in secure web gateway (SWG) and integrated security service products (e.g., Netskope).
- Experience with endpoint protection products like SentinelOne.
- Familiarity with security testing extensions such as CT-ST.
- Working knowledge of contemporary technologies and platforms, including Azure, AWS, HTML5, and Selenium.
- In-depth understanding of testing methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall approaches.
- Experience utilising test recording tools and managing test lab environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport across all levels of the organisation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Qualifications and Experience (Preferred):
- Recognised testing qualification (ISTQB, CSTE, etc.)
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Basic understanding of HTML5
