🚀 Senior Business Analyst – Cyber Security
Location: Manila, Philippines
Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst – Cyber Security to lead analysis, documentation, and delivery support for complex security programs.

About the Role

In this role, you will drive high-quality business analysis outcomes for critical IT security projects. You will work autonomously, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure security solutions align with business needs, architectural standards, and industry frameworks. Your work will directly contribute to strengthening the organisation’s cyber resilience and technology ecosystem.

What You Will Do

Business Analysis

• Lead requirements gathering, documentation, and sign-off (business, functional, and non-functional) aligned with security frameworks (E8 / NIST Level 2).

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, IT teams, and vendors to assess security options and recommend optimal solutions.

• Produce process documentation and ensure alignment across business, security, and delivery domains.

• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, proactively driving resolutions and improvements.

• Contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support enterprise delivery standards.

Data Analysis

• Analyse large datasets to uncover insights, identify security risks, and guide decision-making.

• Use advanced Excel expertise to model impacts, forecast scenarios, and support security analytics.

• Recommend improvements to data capture and analysis processes.

Testing (Nice to Have)

• Contribute to test planning across functional and non-functional requirements.

• Support scheduling, estimations, and risk identification during test phases.

About You

You are a seasoned Senior BA who brings confidence, structure, and strong analytical capability. You excel at solving problems, leading workshops, and translating complex needs into actionable requirements. You think broadly, anticipate risks, and maintain strong relationships across technical and business teams.

Key Experience

• 5+ years as a Cyber Security BA, with experience in NIST and ACSC standards.

• 7+ years in Business and Data Analysis.

• 3+ years in testing roles (advantage).

• Experience across security domains such as IAM, PAM, IaaS, Infrastructure Security, Cloud PaaS, and CMDB/data analysis.

• Strong Agile/Scrum delivery experience (mandatory).

• Advanced Excel and hands-on data analysis capability.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communicator and facilitator.

• Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing, and partnering skills.

• Able to think end-to-end across project delivery and anticipate impacts.

• Pragmatic, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused.

• Able to drive progress, identify improvements, and add value across the security portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or Business.

• Strong understanding of ACSC and NIST frameworks.

• Business Analysis certification (CBAP preferred).

• Agile/Scrum training.

• Knowledge of testing methodologies (advantage).

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
