Job description

About the role

Our Federal Government client is seeking an experienced Communications Specialist to implement internal communications strategies that promote and encourage adoption of ICT and Cyber Security capabilities across the department.

Responsibilites

  • Contribute to the development and execution of communication strategies and plans that increase understanding and inspire action by stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Subject Matter Experts to understand projects from concept and identify appropriate communications channel to launch projects.
  • Translate communication briefs through concept and creative development to written and visual production.
  • Develop communications products like intranet content, internal messaging, PowerPoint presentations and content for infographics and promotional material.
  • Provide storytelling excellence through compelling and creative business writing supporting a variety of stakeholders including the departmental executive.
  • Support website content and effectively manage digital assets (Microsoft Teams and Intranet).
  • Develop and adopt established processes, brand standards and design language across templates, documents, and presentations

Key requirements

  • Previous Government experience
  • Security clearance: Current NV1 clearance required
