Job description
Paxus is currently seeking multiple Delivery Engineers to contract for our Federal Government client.
- Contract to 30 June 23 + 2x 12 months extension
- Canberra based - Full time on-site
- Minimum baseline clearance required
The Delivery Engineers will address the requirement to transition multiple business systems and infrastructure capabilities off their legacy platforms. You will be expected to have knowledge across many technical disciplines and possess the ability to work across a range of activities from technical configuration detail to high level solution design.
Responsibilities
- Developing technology architecture artefacts
- Providing technical services across a highly complex environment
- Developing and reviewing detailed designs
- Creating technical plans for migration of legacy systems
- Ensuring artefacts produced are fit for purpose, adhere to the enterprise technical patterns, and can be approved for implementation by governance boards
- Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in design and delivery of operational environments encompassing the following disciplines: - Active Directory (Domain Services) - Windows/Unix Server - Microsoft Exchange - VMWare ESX Server, Hyper Converged Infrastructure environments and VM Cloud - Databases - SQL & Oracle - Network (LAN WAN and Gateway) - Cloud (Azure & AWS)
