Job description
Paxus is currently seeking multiple Engagement Managers to work with our Federal Government Client.
- 12 month contract + 2x 6 months extensions
- Multiple locations: Canberra and Sydney
- Australian Citizenship + ability to obtain a baseline security clearance required
- Multiple positions available
Provide engagement support for the development and expansion of a Government System. The engagement activities will support and promote the continual development of the system. You will provide strategic support, advice and guidance used to inform the development of future government submissions and opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support the Strategy for 2022-23
- Provide stakeholder engagement and consultation support in accordance with the Engagement Strategy.
- Support stakeholder engagement and consultation activities with a broad range of stakeholders, including State and Territory government, Commonwealth government and the private sector.
- Prepare papers and provide strategic advice to support strategy development, and Executive and Ministerial briefings.
- Provide stakeholder engagement and consultation support for legislation activities
Skills required
- Strong, stakeholder engagement skills, including experience in leading complex activities
- Experience in the development of complex Stakeholder Engagement Strategies that build mutual understanding and awareness with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in the development of government business cases and preparation of ministerial correspondence.
- Experience in working on digital service type initiatives.
