Job description

Work as an Information Management Records Administrator for an established and global consulting firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Information Security

  • Identify sensitive information assets / datasets and take appropriate action to secure under direction.
  • Migrate information off network drives or uncontrolled locations onto the EDRMS or alternative agreed secure locations as directed.
  • Undertake operation updates of permissions within EDRMS.

Records and Data Management

  • Support and Administer the delivery of the Records Management function and its Program of Work, including management/preparation of offsite indexes, processing file requests, carton retrievals, returns, tracking, archival searches and audit requests as required
  • Undertake Digitisation activity to reduce reliance on hardcopy files
  • Assist with implementation of data migrations across Information Management systems as required
  • Prepare for approval records requiring action under PROV guidelines and undertake such action as approved.
  • Undertake cleansing exercise across network drives / EDRMS to remove duplicate / legacy / redundant information utilizing AI tool and under direction of IM Team

Technology

  • Triage, action and / or escalate 1st level support queries relating to Information Management systems and processes
  • Complete Information Management system activities as required, including generation of reports, workflow queries and requirements gathering and access requests
  • Deliver System and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as required

Skills and Experience required

  • Experience in delivering a support function for an EDRMS
  • Technical experience in working with shared Network Drives, end-user administration and associated data migrations is required
  • Demonstrable work experience in elements of records lifecycle management
  • Ability to think creatively, meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
  • Strong written and oral skills
  • Ability to think creatively, and implement innovative and effective solutions
  • Experience in delivering a support function for EDRMS or other system
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
