Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Level 2 technical support for both company hosted (and cloud based) Distributed Ledger (DLT) platforms.
  • Incident Management (including Root Cause Analysis), Problem management, Release Management.
  • Set up monitoring/alerting across environments using enterprise tools (ELK /Kanbana) or scripting.
  • Completion of routine tasks such as Health Checks, User Queries
  • Participate in non-functional testing required by projects and software releases.
  • Maintenance of technical documentation required by the team for operational support.
  • Server side software installation (Linux system) and configuration of systems/environments.
  • Utilising CI/CD pipeline for the project.
  • Afterhours work may be requested to perform changes, upgrade, testing, and any critical activity that cannot be performed during week days.


What you've done:

  • Degree or equivalent in IT, computing, science or maths
  • 3+ years support of mission critical applications
  • 3 + years' experience in Linux OS admin, install, configuration, troubleshooting (including Bash, Cron scripting).
  • Experience with application monitoring tools such as ELK.
  • 2+ years' experience in container (e.g. Docker or K8s) admin and deployment platforms.
  • Exposure or Knowledge in Terraform or other Infrastructure As Code tool
  • Good knowledge of IT Service Management platforms, such as Service Now or Jira.

And if you've got some of this, even better:

  • Interest or knowledge in distributed ledger technology (DLT).
  • Familiarity with COBIT 5 and/or ITIL methodologies
  • Security infrastructure knowledge (Hardware Security Module, Public Key Infrastructure, Identity Access Management)
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP networks to diagnose connectivity issues.
