Job description

Are you an Engineer or an IT Professional who is up for a challenging role? If so this large ASX50 listed organisation is looking for you!

What You'll Do

  • This role looks after and supports incidents and tickets from the queue, triage them and escalate tickets.
  • As the Operational Support Engineer, you will automate processes where possible using scripting languages and liaise with stakeholders, communicating and translating incidents.
  • You will continuously strive for operational excellence, instilling a customer first culture and drive consistency across the Technology business.
  • There will be an on-call component in this role, ideally 1 week on and 3 weeks off, however this could change, and you will be compensated.

What You'll Bring

  • As the successful candidate, your experience may come from an Application Support role supporting transaction-based organisation, ideally with Linux and Unix experience.
  • You will also be able to develop relationships across the business and with an understanding of ITIL processes.
