To support this journey, we're seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer to join their collaborative delivery team. This is a high-impact role where you'll play a key part in ensuring systems remain scalable, stable, and responsive - even under heavy load.

🛠 What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading and executing load, stress, and performance tests across complex platforms

  • Using tools like JMeter and Gatling to assess system behaviour under pressure

  • Analysing performance data and collaborating with developers and SREs to identify and resolve bottlenecks

  • Monitoring application and infrastructure performance using AppDynamics and Splunk

  • Supporting cloud-native, WebLogic, and Oracle-based environments

  • Contributing to test automation, continuous improvement, and production readiness reviews

✅ What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience in Performance Engineering or Testing roles

  • Strong hands-on capability with JMeter and/or Gatling

  • Familiarity with performance monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar

  • Solid scripting or automation skills (e.g. Python, Java, Bash)

  • Experience working in both Linux and Windows environments

  • Knowledge of enterprise platforms like WebLogic, Oracle, and cloud-native services

  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work across dev, ops, and product teams

💼 Why You'll Want This Role

  • A high-visibility position in a long-term program

  • Supportive, mature engineering culture

  • Hybrid flexibility (3 days onsite, Melbourne CBD)
