Overview
We have an exciting permanent job opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing Insurer based here in Sydney to assist the Project team with the delivery of a variety of projects across the business.
You will bring exceptional communication skills and confidence in working within dynamic work-environments where no two-days are the same. Utilise your experience in IT Project delivery including SDLC, site relocation, Digital Transformations and various project methodologies to professionally deliver outcomes with minimal business disruption.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, plan and execute various projects according to business needs from start to finish, ensuring budgets and time-lines are maintained
- Manage various team members within the project team, ensuring requirements and expectations are clearly set and met
- Proactively identify and manage risks, raising communications where necessary to appropriate stakeholders
- Ensure projects follow clear methodologies and follow change management processes where adjustments need to be made
- Manage third party vendors to assist in delivering effective solutions
Essential Requirements
- At least 5+ years experience in IT Project Management roles, ideally within financial services industry
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is essential
- Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall project environments
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing external vendors and ensuring SLAs are in place and being followed
