Job description

Role Overview

An experienced Project Manager is required to lead the end-to-end implementation of a new Dayforce HCM & Payroll solution. This role is a key part of a broader enterprise transformation program focused on modernising payroll and HR systems. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, execution, integration, stakeholder engagement, and post-go-live support.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a detailed project plan to guide the implementation of Dayforce HCM & Payroll.

  • Engage with internal stakeholders across multiple departments as well as external vendors and advisors.

  • Oversee the integration between HCM, Payroll, and other core systems to ensure smooth and secure data flow.

  • Create and manage business cases, risk registers, project budgets, schedules, and post-implementation reviews.

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and protection regulations.

  • Lead the development and rollout of training programs to support user adoption.

  • Define project success metrics and deliver regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders.

  • Coordinate and chair working groups across business units to maintain alignment and progress.

  • Collaborate with internal quality and compliance teams and independent advisors to assess and manage project risk.


Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong experience in project or program management using recognised methodologies such as PMBOK, PRINCE2, or AgilePM.

  • Demonstrated success in delivering enterprise-level digital or systems projects.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.


Desirable Experience

  • Experience implementing enterprise-wide payroll or finance solutions (preferably Dayforce).

  • Background in aged care, healthcare, or not-for-profit sectors is an advantage.
