Paxus have partnered with a large Gold Coast employer of choice and have a new Senior Data Analyst role available. This is a contract until 25th February 2022 and will be based in Bundall, Gold Coast + WFH flexibility.
Purpose and Scope of Position:
The position is required to lead and assist the various business areas in understanding business objectives, questions, and problems and obtaining and presenting data to address the issues in plain English and compelling visualisations
Responsibilities of this position will also include:
Uses data visualisation techniques to effectively communicate analytical results and support business decisions
Profile data contained within identified systems
Definition and ongoing management of information principles, data standards, and master data management
Coordinate with the business areas to understand their information needs and identify ways to visualize and present information in a user-friendly manner
Interpret data and analyse results to provide ongoing reports and visualisations
Provide knowledge transfer and functional assistance to the business on the use of reporting and visualisation tools
Preferred Personal Skills and Attributes:
Appropriate qualifications in Information Technology and/or Business Management, or significant experience in a similar technical role in an ICT service delivery environment
Experienced in the use of BI and visualisation tools such as SAP WEBI and Power BI
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
You can bring new ideas and challenge the status quo to bring about continuous improvement.
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
Communicates with influence and effectively engages with suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver constructive outcomes and resolve issues.
