Job description

New contract opportunity available for a Senior Integration Specialist. This is a 6 month contract role + 6 month extension option and will be based in Newstead Brisbane with work from home flexibility. Daily market rates are on offer.

As the Senior Integration Specialist you will provide a high degree of technical and analytical assistance in the identification of opportunities and solutions to system integration problems.

You will also be responsible for delivering business solutions involving information technology that satisfies agreed customer requirements. A detailed level of knowledge and experience in system and application integration is required.

You will be requested to perform either Operational or Project duties. You will also be responsible for the operations and stability of the integration platform. Additionally, you will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of solutions using chosen software on integration related projects

About the role:

  • Senior Integration Specialists are highly specialised in the Oracle stack along with the following software.
  • Will be subject matter experts in Oracle Weblogic 11,12 , J2EE, Oracle Service Bus, Version control ,XML, JMS, Spring Framework and SQL/PLSQL
  • Familiarity with API platforms plus the development and implementation of Rest APIs. Experience of AWS and KAFKA is highly desirable
  • Experience in projects that have conducted the Agile practices including Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming and Daily Standups
  • Experience with DevOps processes using Atlassian or Github products.
  • Experience with Azure is also highly desirable

About you

  • Degree qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline; or equivalent industry experience and demonstrated competence appropriate to the position
  • Highly specialised knowledge of Oracle Integration stack along with accompanying software.
  • Detailed level of knowledge and experience in system and application integration
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of ITSM principles
  • High level knowledge and understanding of current methodologies, practices and principles while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated experience in managing change, resolving conflicts and analytically assessing risks to ensure operational outcomes are met and deliver positive business outcomes
  • Proven ability to engage at all levels and exercise critical thinking in a complex environment and effectively communicate, negotiate and influence within a dynamic and sensitive multi-business environment
