About the role
Our client is seeking a Service Designer/Buisness Analyst to support the delivery of a large complex Program to provide an end-to-end improved user experience for the Department's Users. The Program is being delivered using SaFE Agile delivery.
Responsibilites
- Understanding business needs, collecting data, conducting technical analysis and identifying, evaluating and recommending solution options
- Leading and facilitating workshops with users, executives and/or technical staff to gather requirements and to validate recommended courses of action
- Preparation of quality evidence-based written reports and other documents, including future state data and process flow maps
- Conducting walkthroughs to validate and obtain approval of business analysis outputs and work packages
- Working with architects, technical leads, developers and vendors to support development of customer centric solutions
Skils and experience
- 5+ years gathering and analysing business requirements and as a Service Designer
- Proven technical analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong experience in working in large programs of work and executing the role irrespective of methodology being used
- Proven experience in facilitating workshops, bringing stakeholders together and maintaining a Service based delivery outlook
- Experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders including project team members, technical staff, subject matter experts, vendors and executive.
- Demonstrated experience in technical and business analysis, evaluation of services, systems and processes and strong experience in delivering optimal Service Designs that achieve business and technical benefits.
- Proven ability to liaise with senior stakeholders both internal and external to the Program
- Proven ability to work in a fast paced and changeable environment
You must be an Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain a baseline clearance.
