Roles & Responsibilities

1. Organic Social & Community Management

  • Engagement: Interact with followers by responding to comments, messages, and posts, thereby building a community feel.
  • Brand Voice: Represent the brand's voice and persona consistently across all posts and interactions.
  • Monitoring: Keep an eye on social media trends and audience conversations to adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Growth: Implement strategies to increase followers and engagement organically.
  • Analytics: Monitor and report on engagement metrics such as likes, shares, and comments to understand content performance.
  • Crisis Management: Address negative feedback or public relations issues tactfully and in alignment with brand standards.

2. Content Strategy

  • Content Creation: Oversee and sometimes directly create various types of content, such as text posts, videos, and images.
  • Editorial Calendars: Develop and manage a content calendar to plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.
  • Content Curation: Source relevant content to share on social platforms that aligns with the brand's values and audience interests.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and design teams to produce cohesive and innovative content.
  • Integration: Optimize social media content for search engines, integrating relevant keywords to improve visibility.
  • Performance Analysis: Use analytics tools to gauge content effectiveness and tweak strategy as needed.

Paid Social Media (Bonus)

  • Campaign Strategy: Design and implement paid social media campaigns that align with the broader marketing objectives.
  • Budget Management: Allocate and manage the budget for paid campaigns to maximize return on investment.
  • Targeting: Utilize demographic data to target ads effectively and reach different audience segments.
  • Ad Creation: Supervise the design and writing of compelling ad copy that resonates with the target audience.
  • Testing and Optimisation: Continuously test different ad formats and content to refine strategies and improve campaign performance.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on campaign performance, including insights and recommendations for future campaigns.


Skills & Experience required.

  • Must have experience working in a Digital Media Agency.
  • At least 2 years of experience in social media management which includes managing corporate social media profiles and executing social media campaigns.
  • Knowledge of social media scheduling tools (like Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.), best practices, and basic understanding of advertising platforms (such as Facebook Ads Manager & Linkedin).
  • Social Campaigns: Hands-on experience planning, implementing, and optimizing paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Content Strategy: Proficiency in creating engaging content that resonates with the target audience. This includes good writing skills, a basic understanding of graphic design, and familiarity with content management systems.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data from social media platforms and other analytics tools to make informed decisions and improve the effectiveness of social media campaigns.
  • Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, keeping track of all timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent writing and verbal communication skills to articulate ideas clearly and interact effectively with audiences.
  • Bonus: Certifications in digital marketing, social media strategy, or platform-specific advertising (like Facebook Blueprint or Google Analytics certification).
