You will provide guidance and design leadership for initiatives in the Operations value stream. This involves creating and leading the design of new technology capabilities, collaborating across a broad range of stakeholders as well as detailed Solution Design documentation of the essential core building block's that make up a technical solution.

You will be a subject matter expert within the assigned initiatives and will be expected to provide knowledge sharing and mentoring across project and Operations ITS teams.

We will trust you to:

  • Provide design leadership for initiatives and BAU operations;
  • Act as a trusted advisor in the effective use of technologies to achieve business outcomes.
  • Uphold the architectural governance principles and good implementation design for deliverables
  • Collaborate with the ITS CTO office to ensure alignment with the organisational Strategy, Vision, Roadmaps, ICT Plan, and overall Enterprise Architecture related artefacts
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to support delivery outcomes
  • Develop required artefacts to support the delivery of projects such as schematics, flows, models
  • Ensure design implemented aligns with solution architecture and conceptual artefacts
  • Contribute to the effective management of risks and issues associated with design
  • Maintain depth of knowledge and understanding of key industry trends and the range of vendor solutions available for delivery of services in a large, complex environment.

You will have:

  • Solid experience (i.e. 5+ years) in solution design on large-scale and technically challenging projects, including business applications, integration, databases, platforms/operating systems, cloud and virtualisation initiatives;
  • Experience working with business applications across Financials, CRM, Service Management and HR domains such as Workday, Salesforce and ServiceNow
  • Experience working with integration platforms such as Mulesoft, web Methods or IBM Sterling Integrator
  • Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership; Stakeholder management
  • Demonstrated understanding of working in complex environments;
  • Demonstrated superior analytical, communication and technical documentation skills.
  • Architecture related certification is desireable
  • Agile Certified i.e. SAFe, Scrum is preferred
