Technical Business Analyst

A leading Retail Client based in Greater Sydney Area is looking for a Technical Business Analyst with Data Analysis and Public Cloud Experience. APPLY NOW!!!

About the role:

The Technical Business Analyst will support the product owner and liaise with Customers in Corporate IT and the Digital teams. The Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting the function to develop and deliver in the most cost-effective and productive manner with the highest possible quality standard.

Key Accountabilities:

• Gather business requirements and work with application and product owners.
• Developing and monitoring of Cloud Cost metrics.
• Cloud Cost structured reporting for varying levels.
• Participate in product forum with Vendor to learn the industry best practices.
• Assists with business case development.
• Support the budget process by working with IT Finance.

To be successful for the role, one must be:

• Experienced with Public Cloud platforms including Azure, GCP, and AWS.
• Experienced with solid data analysis skills, particularly related to cost management and particularly Cloud Cost management.
• Experienced in Business Process & IT Systems.
• Having Knowledge of Finance and accounting principles.
• Experienced with Cost-Benefit analysis and business case development.
• Able to traverse the traditional BA role in a technical context
• Experienced working in Infrastructure teams and/or programs.
• Experienced working with data visualisation tools such as Cloudability,Tableau, Power BI and G- Sheet.
• Experienced in FINOPS working model.
• Experienced in contract management and maintenance.
• Experienced with ITIL and Agile ways of working.
• Familiar with Jira / Confluence working tool.
• Experienced using Big Query, familiar with SQL queries.
• Experienced in supporting and developing negotiation strategies.
