A large enterprise organisation is seeking an Agile Delivery Lead to support multiple engineering squads operating across cloud hosting, infrastructure uplift and DevOps delivery. These squads work across Azure, GCP, and core platform services, delivering remediation, lifecycle upgrades, security uplift and operational enhancements.
You will establish delivery rhythm, manage cross‑squad dependencies, integrate Ops into DevOps workflows, and ensure clear, predictable delivery across infrastructure‑focused teams. This role suits someone pragmatic, collaborative and experienced in guiding technical squads within complex enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate core Agile ceremonies across multiple hosting squads, including planning, stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives.
- Maintain visibility of risks, dependencies and blockers, following through to ensure timely resolution.
- Support the integration of Operations into DevOps delivery processes, ensuring change, readiness and risk considerations are understood and planned.
- Drive predictable sprint delivery by establishing clear goals, healthy backlogs, and effective prioritisation with engineering and product leaders.
- Coach teams on effective use of tooling such as Jira, Confluence, Miro and Jira Goals (for OKRs).
- Promote continuous improvement practices and help squads optimise ways of working suited to infrastructure delivery.
- Coordinate cross‑squad communication, alignment and delivery cadence across a broader program of work.
- Support light release/change coordination aligned to enterprise processes and technical constraints.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong Agile delivery experience (Scrum Master, Iteration Manager, or Delivery Lead).
- Experience supporting infrastructure, cloud or platform engineering teams (Azure/GCP strongly preferred).
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills, with a pragmatic mindset rather than strict adherence to theoretical frameworks.
- Understanding of enterprise change, release cycles, operational risk, and infrastructure delivery complexity.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills across engineering, operations and leadership stakeholders.
- Tooling proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Miro and familiarity with OKR frameworks (e.g., Jira Goals).
- Experience in large‑scale enterprise environments, experience in retail, banking, insurance or complex corporates advantageous.
