Your Role
Working closely with executive technology leadership within this key client's ICT ecosystem, this role will establish the foundations, governance, and delivery model required to enable sustainable and responsible AI adoption across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate an emerging AI strategy into a clear, executable roadmap and delivery plan
- Establish governance, risk, and compliance frameworks aligned to enterprise standards (including cyber, privacy, and responsible AI)
- Design and embed an AI operating model, including ways of working, roles, and capability uplift
- Lead a structured AI program of work, including pilots, proofs of concept, and scaled delivery pathways
- Align AI initiatives with existing cloud, data, and platform capabilities
- Engage stakeholders across IT and business units to ensure adoption, value realisation, and alignment to priorities
Key Deliverables
- Mobilised AI program including roadmap, governance, and delivery structure
- Established foundational AI capability across platforms, data, and infrastructure
- Successful delivery of initial AI use cases with clear scaling pathways
- Embedded governance and risk controls aligned to organisational standards
- Defined capability uplift and sustainable AI delivery model
About You
- Proven experience leading enterprise AI or digital transformation programs end-to-end
- Senior IT leadership background (Director level or above, reporting to CIO/CTO)
- Strong track record of translating strategy into practical, executable outcomes
- Experience delivering complex, multi-stakeholder programs in large organisations
Technical and Domain Expertise
- Strong understanding of AI/ML and Generative AI technologies
- Experience implementing AI governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
- Solid knowledge of enterprise IT, cloud, and data platforms
Leadership
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills at executive level
- Ability to drive organisational adoption, cultural change, and capability uplift
- Commercially minded with a strong focus on value-driven delivery
