A03 Project Support Officer - Townsville, QLD
In the role of A03 Program Support Officer, you will utilise a broad range of computer software programs and information management systems to provide high level support services. Your work will enhance the timely and effective delivery of projects within Townsville, North QLD.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administrative Coordination: Provide high quality support to enable the delivery of a district wide program of works. This includes coordinating meetings and workshops, preparing agendas, recording minutes and actions, and maintaining program schedules.
- Information Management: Coordinate and maintain program documentation, registers, trackers, and reports using Microsoft applications to support monitoring and assurance of program progress.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage enquiries, coordinate follow up actions, and ensure clear communication.
- Compliance & Governance: Support compliance with departmental policies, legislation (including WHS), and governance requirements by maintaining accurate records and escalating issues as required.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively to support a positive and high performing work environment, contributing to continuous improvement in coordination practices.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Technical Proficiency: High level proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and related business systems.
- Relevant Experience: Experience providing administrative support within a program, project, or operational environment (highly regarded).
- Communication Skills: The ability to communicate professionally and adapt your style to suit a range of stakeholders.
- Proactive Coordination: Proven ability to anticipate requirements, adapt to changing priorities, and ensure documentation is fit for purpose.
- Problem Solving: Ability to analyse information, identify risks impacting a program of works, and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
- T ime Management: Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high quality work within agreed timeframes.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong skills in working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and contributing to a culture of accountability.
MANDATORY
- Current holder of a "C" class driver licence.
