We are partnering with a large public sector organisation seeking an experienced Team Leader – Endpoint & Application Management to lead a specialist team delivering secure, reliable, and user-focused workplace technology services.

The role
As Team Leader – Endpoint & Application Management, you will lead a high-performing technical team responsible for endpoint services, desktop and mobility platforms, application packaging and patching, collaboration technologies, identity and access management, and SaaS platform support.
You will be responsible for ensuring services are aligned to best practice, operationally reliable, secure, and responsive to evolving business needs. You will also contribute to service uplift initiatives, team capability development, and broader modern workplace outcomes across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a specialist technical team delivering endpoint and application management services
- Oversee enterprise desktop, mobility, messaging, collaboration, and identity and access management solutions
- Manage application packaging, deployment, patching, and endpoint support across the environment
- Support secure, reliable, and high-quality workplace technology services aligned to business needs
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and provide trusted technical advice
- Drive continuous improvement across service delivery, user experience, and platform capability
- Contribute to modern workplace initiatives that support flexibility, accessibility, and mobility
- Represent the team in relevant forums, projects, and cross-functional discussions as required
About you
You will be a technically strong leader with experience managing enterprise endpoint and workplace technologies in a complex environment. You will bring a balance of operational delivery, service improvement, people leadership, and stakeholder engagement.
You will ideally have experience across:
- Microsoft Intune
- SCCM
- Windows 11
- Group Policy
- Microsoft 365, including Teams
- Active Directory
- Hybrid cloud environments
- Endpoint security controls
- ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools
- Cyber security frameworks and controls, including ISO 27001 and Essential 8
