Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Application DBA / Oracle Developer / Designer to join our team. This role is primarily focused on optimising PL/SQL and SQL performance, ensuring stable, efficient database operations, and supporting business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimise PL/SQL, SQL queries, and scripts to enhance performance and reliability.

• Analyse existing packaged procedures and design/develop new database objects.

• Apply expertise in execution plan stability, SQL profiles, and hints to ensure efficient query performance across large data volumes.

• Troubleshoot and resolve application-specific database issues, ensuring system stability and availability.

• Collaborate with developers, designers, and architects to deliver scalable, high-performing database solutions.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Application DBA / Oracle Developer / Designer.

• Strong expertise in PL/SQL programming and SQL tuning/optimisation.

• Hands-on knowledge of execution plans, profiles, and hints for query stability.

• Demonstrated ability in analysing, optimising, and troubleshooting packaged procedures.

• Experience with high-volume data processing and ensuring performance under load.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex application database issues.

Desirable Skills (Nice to Have):

• Exposure to performance monitoring tools (e.g., AWR, ASH, OEM).

• Knowledge of database security and best practices.

• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
