We’re seeking an accomplished Lead Applications Developer to help guide small development teams to modernise and enhance critical in-house applications. You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions within a dynamic environment.
The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years’ experience in full-stack development and the ability to balance leadership with technical delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of applications
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to define requirements and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Drive engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience:
- Extensive full-stack development experience, with a focus on the MEAN stack and Microsoft SQL.
- Proven expertise in microservices architecture, API design, and cloud/containerised deployments (Azure/AWS).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, software architecture, and performance optimisation.
- Strong background in data analysis, Agile methodologies, and applying technical solutions to business needs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead small development teams and provide technical guidance.
- Prior experience within the banking / financial services sector is advantageous.
