Architecture Outcome Lead – Event Driven Architecture
An experienced Architecture Outcome Lead is required to support a major technology modernisation program. This role forms part of a long term, 5 year program of work, with the initial contract through to 31 December 2026 and strong extension potential.
You will lead the definition and governance of solution architectures aligned to enterprise architecture standards, with a strong focus on modernising a core legacy platform through event driven architecture and high quality event production.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and govern logical and physical solution architectures aligned to enterprise roadmaps
- Design and enable high quality system events that represent key business and system changes
- Architect event streams to support loosely coupled, event driven integrations
- Define event publication patterns to enable near real time data replication from legacy systems
- Provide architectural guidance and design governance from detailed design through to delivery
- Collaborate with architects and delivery teams to ensure solutions are scalable and fit for purpose
- Analyse requirements and assess transition options to support progressive modernisation
ABOUT YOU
- Strong experience in solution or enterprise architecture within complex environments
- Proven delivery of event driven architecture and legacy modernisation initiatives
- Solid understanding of integration patterns and contemporary cloud platforms
- Confident influencing delivery teams and senior stakeholders
HIGHLY DESIRABLE
- Enterprise architecture frameworks and best practice experience
- Confluent or Kafka experience
- AWS certifications
- ArchiMate or similar modelling notation experience
