Business Analyst – Security (Remote Access / PAM)

Contract: 6 months with strong potential of extensions
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – travel to site required

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support and facilitate a Security Remote Access and Privileged Access Management (PAM) program of work. This is a hands-on BA role focused on requirements, stakeholder engagement, and delivery support across security and technical teams.

The BA will work closely with miners/site-based users, security specialists, and technical delivery teams, so excellent communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate and support a 6-month program of work focused on Remote Access and PAM

• Engage with Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Application teams to gather and document requirements

• Work directly with site-based users (including miners) and technical teams to understand access needs and constraints

• Document current-state and future-state processes for remote and privileged access

• Translate security, compliance, and risk requirements into clear business and technical requirements

• Develop BA artefacts including:

  • User stories and acceptance criteria

  • Process flows and gap analysis

  • Access and entitlement models

• Support delivery through build, testing, UAT, and rollout

• Track risks, dependencies, and assumptions

• Support change, onboarding, and user enablement activities as required

Skills & Experience

• 5–10+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in complex environments

• Experience working on security, IAM, PAM, or remote access initiatives(strongly preferred)

• Understanding of PAM and remote access concepts such as:

  • Privileged credentials, vaulting, session monitoring

  • VPN, Zero Trust, bastion/jump hosts

  • Active Directory / Azure AD (Entra)

• Experience working with or around PAM tools such as:

  • CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea/Thycotic, or similar

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including working with non-technical site-based users

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Comfortable working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
