What You’ll Do
Your key responsibilities will include:

Eliciting and documenting requirements for dashboards, reports, and data-driven products.

Running workshops, creating wireframes, and validating user stories with stakeholders.

Partnering with business teams to define MVPs, confirm data sources, and support UAT.

Supporting data reconciliation and ensuring business acceptance of data validity.
-
Translating business needs into testable specifications developers can confidently deliver from.
-
Helping uplift information governance practices, including clarifying data ownership and improving data quality.
-
Contributing to the development of repeatable methods for requirement gathering and solution design.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
-
5+ years of proven business analysis experience, ideally with Queensland Government.
-
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and produce clear, persuasive documentation.
-
Hands-on experience in requirements elicitation for dashboards and reporting solutions.
-
Strong skills in preparing user stories, acceptance criteria, and mock-ups/wireframes.
-
Agile delivery experience (certification desirable).
-
Familiarity with SQL Server, Power BI, or similar tools (advantageous, not essential).
-
Experience in asset management and related data practices (advantageous).
