Are you a seasoned SAP FICO Business Analyst ready to make an impact on one of Australia’s largest and most complex ERP transformation programs? This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking public sector organisation leading a major SAP S/4HANA implementation aimed at modernising financial systems, improving integration, and enhancing service delivery across a broad operational landscape.
About the Role
As the SAP FICO Business Analyst, you will support a stream of a Modern ERP Program, focusing on the design, integration, and optimisation of external revenue-generating systems into SAP S/4HANA Finance.
Your work will ensure seamless data flow from multiple external platforms—improving visibility, automation, and accuracy across financial management, revenue, banking, and reporting processes.
This role is ideal for a strategic, outcome-driven professional who thrives in complex environments and enjoys bridging the gap between Finance, IT, and business operations.
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to define integration and process requirements.

Analyse, document, and optimise processes related to revenue, banking, and accounts receivable.

Contribute to solution design and workflow configuration to ensure accurate data posting in SAP S/4HANA.

Partner with technical teams to validate data migration, transformation, and integration activities.

Support testing, UAT, and go-live phases including cutover planning and issue resolution.

Produce high-quality documentation, user guides, and training materials.

Provide post-implementation support including reconciliation, audit readiness, and continuous improvement.
About You
You are a collaborative and analytical professional who understands both financial processes and SAP system capabilities. You’re confident facilitating workshops, challenging the status quo, and translating business needs into practical SAP FICO solutions.
You bring:

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial systems or ERP environments.

Strong knowledge of SAP FICO and experience with complex integration projects.

Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, Signavio, or similar process modelling tools.

Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams in finance, revenue, and technology.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable:

Experience within large-scale financial transformation programs in the public sector.

Knowledge of government financial compliance and reporting frameworks.

Exposure to multi-release ERP programs and external revenue system integrations.
