Business Analyst (Process & PMO Focus) | Large QLD Local Government | Brisbane
We are recruiting a Business Analyst with a strong process and PMO background to support broader program governance and continuous improvement initiatives within a major Queensland local government organisation.
This role is ideal for a BA who thrives in structured environments, has excellent process discipline, and is confident working across PMO frameworks.
What You’ll Work On

Developing and refining process documentation (workflows, service maps, procedures).

Applying strong process methodology (BPMN/Visio experience ideal).

Supporting PMO functions, including RAID management, reporting, and project governance.

Assisting with project controls and structured documentation.

Working with program leadership to uplift standards, frameworks, and processes.
What You Need
-
Strong process analysis background with experience designing workflows.

Experience working in or closely with a PMO.

Excellent understanding of governance frameworks (RAID, project reporting, controls).
-
High-quality documentation skills with strong structure and clarity.
-
Experience in large or complex organisations (government preferred).
-
Visio, Excel, and general BI awareness (Power BI exposure helpful).
