Business Analyst – SAP S/4HANA Transformation

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a major enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA transformation program within a large and complex operational environment.

This role will support a significant ERP modernisation initiative focused on replacing legacy systems and establishing a future-ready technology ecosystem across core business functions including procurement, supply chain, finance, HR, payroll, and asset management.

The successful candidate will play a key role in business readiness activities, ensuring operational impacts, business process changes, workforce readiness, and service delivery risks are effectively identified and managed throughout the transformation lifecycle.

About the Role

Working closely with business stakeholders, operational teams, and program delivery resources, you will support the analysis and implementation of business process changes associated with SAP S/4HANA adoption.

You will contribute to current and future state process mapping, change impact analysis, readiness planning, risk assessment, and go-live preparation activities, ensuring business continuity and operational readiness are maintained throughout the program.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture, analyse, and document business processes, operational impacts, and readiness requirements
• Facilitate workshops and engage with business, operational, and program stakeholders
• Develop current and future state process maps and business process documentation
• Support business readiness and organisational change activities associated with ERP transformation
• Analyse change impacts across business processes, workforce capability, capacity, and service delivery
• Identify and assess risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies affecting operational readiness
• Support process validation, testing activities, issue triage, and go-live readiness planning
• Assist with contingency planning, escalation pathways, and recovery approaches for operational disruption scenarios
• Contribute to reporting, governance, assurance documentation, and implementation tracking
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across procurement, supply chain, finance, and shared services environments

Required Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated Business Analyst experience within large-scale ERP or transformation programs
• Experience working on SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives
• Strong business process analysis and process mapping capability
• Experience supporting business readiness, operational readiness, or change impact activities
• Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
• Ability to analyse business impacts across processes, workforce, capability, and operations
• Experience supporting testing, business validation, and issue management activities
• Strong documentation and reporting skills with attention to detail
• Experience using BPMN, Signavio, Visio, or similar process modelling tools highly regarded

Desirable Experience

• Experience within procurement, supply chain, finance, or shared services environments
• Experience working within large government or enterprise organisations
• Exposure to fit-to-standard or greenfield SAP implementations
• Understanding of operational risk, governance, and business continuity considerations within transformation programs
