Technical Business Analyst
6-Month Contract with potential extensions | Hybrid, Adelaide
We are seeking an experienced Technology Delivery Business Analyst to support the successful delivery of business and technology-led initiatives. This role will work closely with project teams and stakeholders to define requirements, identify business value, and ensure projects progress smoothly through the delivery lifecycle.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (mix of onsite and remote work)
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with project teams including Project Managers, Solution Architects, Engineers, and vendors

Engage with key stakeholders including business owners, end users, service owners, and technical SMEs
-
Support early-stage initiatives through assessment of scope, investment options, timing, cost, and business value

Lead the development of project objectives, requirements, and scope

Analyse and document current state business processes and technology environments
-
Define business, functional, and technical requirements
-
Assist in documenting future state processes and solution designs
-
Develop business cases, benefit/value models, and supporting project artefacts
-
Contribute to delivery planning, design, and procurement processes
-
Support change management, communications, release planning, and risk assessments
-
Assist in testing activities including User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Support transition activities through to operational handover
Deliverables
-
Produce and maintain key business analysis deliverables aligned to project delivery frameworks

Collaborate with project team members on technical and change management outputs
Skills & Experience
-
Strong background in business analysis for technology solution delivery
-
Experience across early project lifecycle and business value definition
-
Business Analysis certification (e.g., CBAP) preferred

Relevant tertiary qualification
-
Proficiency in business process mapping and analysis tools
-
Mining or industrial sector experience highly regarded
Site Attendance / Travel

Occasional site attendance may be required to engage stakeholders and support project activities
