BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST
We are seeking experienced A06 Business Systems Analysts to support the delivery of key projects by leading business analysis activities across requirements definition, process improvement and stakeholder engagement.
Initial contract until August, 2026 offering hybrid working arrangements and exposure to both public and private sector environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead business analysis planning and monitoring, including stakeholder analysis and engagement strategies
- Facilitate workshops and consultations to elicit business, functional and non-functional requirements
- Document current state (As-Is) processes and design future state (To-Be) processes aligned to business objectives
- Analyse business pain points and translate them into clear, actionable requirements
- Develop and maintain Business Requirements Specifications (BRS) and Functional Specifications
- Document interface specifications and configuration requirements
- Manage requirements traceability, prioritisation and change throughout the project lifecycle
- Work closely with Project Managers, business application owners and IT teams
- Proactively engage with external implementation partners to ensure solutions meet business needs
- Support delivery activities as directed by the Project Manager
- Contribute to meeting defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) where applicable
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst on complex projects
- Strong capability in requirements elicitation, documentation and traceability
- Experience producing high-quality business and functional specifications
- Demonstrated ability to map and improve business processes
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience working across both public and private sector environments is highly desirable
- Ability to operate effectively in a structured, delivery-focused project environment
