About the Role:

As a Channel Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving national growth by building a new channel footprint from the ground up. This role is heavily focused on new business development within an indirect/channel sales model, targeting partners across Retail, Motor Dealer or Car Rental environments.

You will be given the autonomy to identify opportunities, open doors, and establish long-term partnerships in the Fleet GPS, telematics and logistics technology space. Success in this role comes from strong prospecting capability, commercial confidence, and the ability to create value-led partnerships rather than transactional sales.

Backed by an experienced leadership team, a proven SaaS product and strong operational support, you will have all the tools required to succeed. With uncapped commissions and a growing market, this role offers exceptional earning potential for motivated sales professionals who want to own their patch and be rewarded for building it.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, pursue and secure new channel partners within your assigned sector

  • Build and execute a go-to-market strategy to establish and grow your patch

  • Drive new business through proactive prospecting, networking and referrals

  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations, proposals and commercial solutions

  • Negotiate contracts and close new business opportunities

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery

  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasting and reporting via CRM

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity within the telematics space

Skills, Experience & Background:

  • 2–4 years’ experience in SaaS sales or a closely related technology environment

  • Direct experience in new business development, within a channel or indirect sales model

  • Proven hunter mentality with a strong track record of opening new markets

  • Experience selling into Retail, Automotive, Rental, Fleet, Logistics or similar industries (highly regarded)

  • Strong commercial acumen with confident negotiation and closing ability

  • Ability to work autonomously and build a territory from scratch

  • CRM experience and disciplined sales approach

  • Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required
