Overview
As a CIAM Operations Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing the organisation’s identity management platform. You’ll collaborate with a talented team to troubleshoot incidents, automate operational tasks, and enhance system performance, all while ensuring compliance with security standards. Your expertise with IAM protocols such as OIDC, OAuth2.0, and SAML will inform your work in resolving complex technical issues. Required Skills
- Proven experience analyzing logs to investigate incidents and identify system issues in complex IAM environments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, including writing automation scripts that reduce manual workload and improve system efficiency.
- Demonstrated expertise supporting enterprise CIAM platforms with a thorough understanding of authentication and authorization workflows (OIDC, OAuth2.0, SAML).
- Ability to develop and follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for manual and automated tasks.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, capable of building effective working relationships across teams and stakeholders.
- A positive attitude and sensitivity towards supporting people living with disabilities, aligned with organizational values.
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience supporting or working within government or large-scale enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of security protocols, threat mitigation, and fraud prevention strategies within CIAM solutions.
- Previous experience working in cyber security or with related compliance standards.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3-5 years proven experience supporting or implementing enterprise-level IAM solutions.
- Familiarity with government procurement and labour hire licensing requirements in relevant states (QLD, ACT, VIC, NSW).
Other Requirements
- Must be an Australian citizen, able to provide valid evidence of citizenship during pre-engagement checks.
- 12 month contract with 1x12 month extension option.
- Ability to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call roster to support critical incident resolution outside regular hours.
- Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment, with at least three days per week onsite, in accordance with organizational policy.
