About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Commercial Accountant to join a high-performing commercial finance team within a large, complex organisation. This role sits within a strategic advisory function and plays a critical part in supporting commercial decision-making, pricing strategy, and financial sustainability.

You will work closely with key stakeholders to drive value through robust financial analysis, business cases, and pricing frameworks, helping shape major commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of pricing models for new and existing contracts to ensure sustainable cost recovery
• Build and review detailed business cases with clear, data-driven financial insights
• Translate complex financial information into concise and actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders
• Strengthen and maintain pricing frameworks, governance, and methodologies
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation of pricing tools and reporting
• Partner with internal teams to optimise commercial outcomes and enhance decision-making
• Contribute to uplift in commercial capability through best-practice financial modelling and insights

About You

• Proven experience in commercial analysis, pricing, and business case development
• Advanced financial modelling skills (Excel or equivalent), including scenario and sensitivity analysis
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance financial and operational considerations
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with an ability to influence and communicate effectively
• Ability to distil complex financial data into clear and practical insights
