EL1 Communications Officer
We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Communications Officer to join a large-scale taskforce and play a key role in delivering effective internal and external communications that support a major digital transformation program.
The Role
As the EL1 Communications Officer, you will support the Organisational Change Manager to deliver project outcomes in a communications capacity. The stream of the Program is a transformative initiative introducing a modern portal for managing meaningful change in how projects are proposed, managed, and funded.
You will work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to develop and deliver clear, engaging, and strategic communication products that inform, engage, and support internal staff and external government stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Develop clear and engaging talking points for senior leaders for internal and external forums

Plan and support delivery of key forums, including creating agendas, presentation materials, and capturing minutes

Draft a range of communication materials including intranet articles, website content, and project summaries

Contribute to planning and delivery of communications for the upcoming portal launch
What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in communications, especially within a change and transformation program

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment

Government experience (desirable but not essential)
