A Queensland Government is seeking a hands on Microsoft Dynamics CRM on prem specialist to support an on prem re installation and cutover. The focus is to repoint an existing application and integrations that use the CRM SDK to a new CRM instance and test environment, then prove the solution works end to end.
This is not a rebuild. It is configuration, environment repointing, troubleshooting, and validation.
What you will do
- Repoint configuration pointers from the legacy CRM instance to the new instance
- Repoint to the test environment and validate application behaviour end to end
- Troubleshoot issues when web portals or integrations fail after repointing
- Make minor configuration changes to restore functionality across portals and integrations
- Provide light .NET and SDK based support only where configuration alone cannot resolve issues
- Work closely with ICT operations teams to deliver a clean cutover and knowledge transfer
Environment
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM on prem
- CRM SDK based application and integrations
- Existing web portals and integrations requiring repointing to a new instance
- Third party vendor support exists, but you will be expected to be hands on and not reliant on vendor delivery
What is out of scope
- No planned development build
- No cloud migration as part of this engagement
- Dynamics 365 cloud skills are beneficial for future work but not required for this contract
What we are looking for
Must have
- Recent and credible experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics CRM on prem environments
- Strong troubleshooting capability and a practical, can do mindset
- Enough .NET experience to understand CRM SDK based integrations and support repointing and issue resolution
- Comfort working in operational environments and engaging with ICT operations teams
Nice to have
- Dynamics 365 experience for potential future uplift, not required for this scope
Timing
- We need someone who can start within the next 1 to 2 weeks
- Contract runs through to 30 June 2026, with potential for a short extension depending on project timelines
