CYBER SECURITY ARCHITECT - QLD GOV
We are currently seeking an experienced Cyber Security Architect to join a large and complex organisation, delivering strategic security outcomes across enterprise environments.
This role will play a key part in bridging business needs with secure technology solutions, with a strong focus on Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and deliver enterprise level security architecture aligned to governance risk and compliance frameworks
- Conduct security assessments and risk analysis across existing control environments
- Develop current state and future state architectural roadmaps
- Provide strategic advice on security best practices and technical direction
- Collaborate with project teams, enterprise architects, and business stakeholders
- Support procurement activities including security requirements and vendor evaluation
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Proven experience in security architecture within large and complex environments
- Strong background across GRC, including ISO 27001, Essential Eight, and ISM
- Demonstrated experience in risk assessment and control uplift initiatives
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience within government or highly regulated environments is highly regarded
HIGHLY DESIRABLE:
- CISSP Certification
- SABSA Certification
- Experience working with Queensland Government frameworks such as QGEA
