About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst / Data Architect to join a high-impact digital transformation program within a government environment. This is an opportunity to contribute to a flagship initiative delivering a generational shift in how regulatory services are designed and delivered across Western Australia. You will play a key role in shaping data foundations, enabling better decision-making, and supporting successful business outcomes.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate data discovery workshops with business stakeholders
- Develop conceptual and logical data models
- Build and maintain data catalogues and business glossaries
- Contribute to data architecture and co-design activities
- Support data migration planning and execution
- Work across data lake and analytics initiatives
- Act as a data change agent, supporting business adoption
- Ensure data and reporting requirements are clearly defined and aligned to business needs
✅ About You
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Data Architect
- Strong background working in Agile delivery environments
- Hands-on experience with:
- Data modelling (conceptual and logical)
- Data migration projects
- Data governance (catalogues, business glossary)
- Exposure to data lakes and analytics platforms
- Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (highly desirable)
- Ability to support change management and drive business transformation
