We are seeking an experienced Data Architect / Data Designer to join our team and drive the design and implementation of enterprise data platforms. This role requires strong expertise in Azure, Big Data, and PySpark, with a proven track record in data analysis, modelling, and delivering scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead data platform architecture design, leveraging Azure, Big Data, and PySpark technologies.
• Translate business requirements into data and reporting requirements and implement data designs across delivery sprints.
• Conduct source data analysis, data mapping, and data modelling to build Data Hubs and Data Marts that meet business needs.
• Work in Data Warehouse (DWH) environments and apply sound knowledge of DWH concepts.
• Apply advanced data modelling techniques such as Data Vault, Dimensional Modelling, using tools like Erwin.
• Collaborate effectively with business users and technical teams for requirements elaboration, user acceptance, and business change.
• Utilize data management tools including Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Quality, and Master/Reference Data.
• Apply strong SQL and data analysis skills to identify patterns and optimize data designs.
• Communicate complex data concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrate self-motivation, results-orientation, and a drive to continuously improve business processes.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in Insurance data domains and business processes.
• Experience with Business Intelligence reporting tools and data analysis platforms.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Significant experience in data analysis, design, and modelling.
• Strong knowledge of Data Warehouse environments and DWH concepts.
• Expertise in Azure data services, Big Data ecosystems, and PySpark.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead delivery sprints efficiently.
