Data Integration Specialist:
- 6 months contract with chance of extension
- Based in Perth
- Experience with data sourcing, ETL/ELT support
About the Role
We’re looking for data Integration Specialist supports the delivery of high‑quality data migration and integrations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of data extractions from existing systems to the new system ensuring outputs meet operational and project needs.
- Contribute to ETL/ELT activities by preparing datasets, performing data profiling, validating results and supporting data movement investigations to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Investigate and interrogate datasets spanning the system and enterprise platforms, performing deep‑dives, data analysis and issue investigation to support integration and migration activities.
- Identify and resolve complex technical and operational data issues affecting migration and integrations (root cause analysis, pattern identification, corrective actions).
- Improve controls and validation approaches for interfaces including SAP connected data exchanges (master/transactional dependencies, reconciliation expectations, upstream change impacts).
What You Bring:
- Demonstrated experience with data sourcing and integration activities, including familiarity with ETL/ELT tools and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to extract and interrogate data from relational databases and other sources (e.g., Oracle/MySQL/SQL Server, flat files).
- Manage multiple tasks using MS Office/SharePoint/Teams and document management systems.
