About the Role
An excellent opportunity exists for a detail-oriented Data Quality Officer to join a large, government-related organisation that manages complex operational data to support statewide services. This role focuses on ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across business applications, which directly supports reporting, analysis, and decision-making functions.
You will play a key role in maintaining high data standards, resolving data issues, and supporting teams that rely on precise and timely information to deliver quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Accurately enter, review, and maintain high-quality data across business systems.

Perform regular data validation and quality control checks.

Generate and analyse data quality reports to identify trends and anomalies.

Investigate and resolve data inconsistencies and errors.

Maintain documentation and guidelines for data management processes.

Process system access requests for internal and external users.

Support data and business systems teams with incident management and reporting tasks.

Provide administrative support for business systems and asset management activities.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and meet data quality requirements.
About You
You are an analytical and process-focused professional who values accuracy and continuous improvement. You take initiative in identifying issues and thrive in environments where data integrity and reliability are critical.
You will ideally bring:

Experience in data management, data quality, or business administration roles.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Experience in asset or fleet-related industries (desirable but not essential).
