Job Title: Python Developer
Location: Melbourne (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)
Type: 6-Month Contract (Likely to extend)

Overview:
We're hiring a skilled Python Developer to lead our Databricks Unity Catalog migration. You'll work with investment tech teams to move workflows and data to their new Databricks Lakehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

Migrate data and workflows to Unity Catalog
Update Databricks notebooks and workflows
Perform reconciliation testing
Collaborate with tech leads, engineers, and platform teams

Key Skills:

Expert in Python, Spark, SQL, Pandas, NumPy
Object Oriented Programming
Strong Databricks experience (Unity Catalog, Workflows, Delta Tables)
Experience with AWS, Git, REST APIs, and orchestration tools (Airflow/Dagster/Luigi)
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
