About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead the design of water infrastructure projects across pipelines, minor works, and large civil projects. This role requires managing multiple concurrent projects, coordinating between project managers and design teams, and ensuring high-quality, technically robust outcomes.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead design delivery across pipeline, minor works (regional & metro), minor frameworks, and water civil projects.
- Coordinate and manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
- Act as the technical liaison between project managers and subject matter experts.
- Ensure design compliance with sustainability, risk management, safety standards.
- Mentor and guide design teams while driving project excellence.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience - Mechanical or Civil Engineering degree (hydraulics experience preferred).
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) highly desirable.
- Strong experience managing multi-project design delivery.
- Excellent coordination, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of water infrastructure projects, pipelines, minor works, and large civil projects.
