DevOps Engineer | Permanent | Brisbane

We’re looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a growing technology team within a complex and technology-driven organisation.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, automating processes and helping development teams deliver software faster, more reliably and securely.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll play a key role in the ongoing evolution of the organisation’s cloud and DevOps capability, working across development, infrastructure and delivery teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Developing and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using technologies such as Terraform, Bicep or similar.
• Supporting and optimising Microsoft Azure environments.
• Automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration and operational processes.
• Working closely with developers and technical teams to improve engineering and deployment practices.
• Implementing monitoring, logging and performance improvements across cloud environments.
• Troubleshooting complex infrastructure, deployment and environment issues.
• Contributing to DevOps standards, governance, security and continuous improvement.
• Helping drive the adoption of modern DevOps and cloud engineering practices across the organisation.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a hands-on DevOps professional who enjoys automation, cloud technology and continuous improvement.

You’ll ideally have experience across:

• Microsoft Azure / Azure DevOps
• CI/CD pipelines and YAML
• Terraform, Bicep or other Infrastructure as Code tools
• Git / GitHub
• Docker and/or Kubernetes
• Cloud infrastructure and automation
• PowerShell or scripting
• Monitoring, logging and observability
• Agile delivery environments

Experience working within a large, complex or highly regulated environment will be highly regarded.
