We’re recruiting a Digital Communications Adviser to join a progressive local government organisation.

About the Role
As the Digital Communications Adviser, you will be responsible for managing and optimising large-scale corporate websites and intranet platforms, ensuring they deliver accessible, user-focused, and reliable digital services.
You will provide specialist advice, support internal stakeholders, and drive digital innovation across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Platform Management
-
Administer and enhance the organisation’s corporate website and intranet using enterprise CMS platforms

Configure and manage online forms and digital tools to improve service delivery
-
Ensure platforms meet usability, accessibility, and governance standards
Stakeholder Engagement and Support
-
Partner with business units to deliver effective digital communication solutions
-
Provide advice on best practice web publishing, social media, and digital engagement
-
Deliver training and guidance to non-technical staff on CMS and digital tools
Digital Innovation and Integration
-
Identify opportunities to improve digital services and user experience
-
Support integration of digital platforms with business systems
-
Contribute to digital initiatives supporting community engagement and disaster communications
Project Coordination
-
Manage digital projects and initiatives from concept through to implementation
-
Coordinate multiple priorities and deliver outcomes within deadlines
About You
You are a proactive and technically capable digital professional with experience managing enterprise web environments.
You will bring:

Demonstrated experience administering large, complex websites and intranets using CMS platforms
-
Experience with online forms and digital platform configuration
-
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
-
Ability to train and support non-technical users
-
Experience delivering digital projects and driving improvements
-
Understanding of digital communications, web publishing, and online engagement
Experience working in government or large organisations will be highly regarded.
