We are seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Developer to join a public sector organisation on an initial 12-month contract. This role will play a key part in designing, building, and supporting enterprise-grade ERP solutions across Finance and Supply Chain platforms.
You will work closely with functional consultants and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and customise business logic using X++

Design, build, and maintain:
- Forms, tables, classes, and reports
- Workflows and batch jobs

Integrate D365 F&O with:
- Other Dynamics 365 applications
- Azure services
- Third-party systems via APIs, OData, and REST
- Support data migration, data entities, and data management activities
- Assist with ERP implementations, upgrades, and post-go-live support
- Collaborate with functional consultants to deliver solutions aligned with business needs
- Contribute to solution design within a structured public sector environment
What You'll Bring

Strong hands-on experience with
Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations - X++ development
- Visual Studio for D365 F&O

Experience with
Azure DevOps (CI/CD and source control) - Data Entities and OData
- SSRS reporting
- Lifecycle Services
- Security roles and permission frameworks

Solid understanding of ERP modules, including:
Finance - Supply Chain / SCM
- Trade & Logistics
- Manufacturing
- Proven ability to work in structured delivery environments, ideally within public sector or large enterprise programs
Engagement Details
- Contract: 12-month initial engagement with potential extensions
