A Queensland Government department is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Technical Developer to design, build, and deliver enterprise-grade business solutions across the Microsoft stack.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on Dynamics 365, .NET, Azure integration, and Power Platform, supporting critical business systems in a complex enterprise environment.

About the Role

You will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and supporting robust business applications using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Azure technologies. The role requires strong technical depth, clean engineering practices, and the ability to collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams.

You will contribute across the full delivery lifecycle including solution design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-grade solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and .NET technologies.
• Build and customise Model-Driven Apps within the Dynamics 365 environment.
• Develop and maintain plugins, custom workflows, web resources, and extensions.
• Design and implement integrations between Dynamics 365 and external systems.
• Build and maintain Azure Functions and Azure Data Factory pipelines.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions to support business insights.
• Design dashboards and visualisations within Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
• Write clean, maintainable code using C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Contribute to solution architecture decisions across Dynamics, Azure, and integration patterns.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimisation.
• Produce clear technical documentation and support operational handover.

Essential Experience and Skills

• 4+ years’ experience as a Dynamics 365 Technical Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience developing enterprise solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Proven delivery of Model-Driven Apps and customised Dynamics solutions.
• Strong integration experience between Dynamics 365 and external systems.
• Solid development skills in C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience building and maintaining Azure Functions and Azure Data Factory pipelines.
• Experience developing Power BI dashboards and analytics solutions.
• Strong understanding of Dynamics 365, .NET, and Azure architecture.
• Experience developing plugins, workflows, and custom components in Dynamics 365.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in delivery teams.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Experience

• Enterprise or government delivery environments.
• Cloud integration patterns and scalable solution design.
• DevOps pipelines and CI/CD practices within Microsoft ecosystems.
• Experience working in regulated or high-availability environments.

Location and Working Arrangement

• Location: Brisbane CBD
• Hybrid model: Minimum 3 days onsite per week required.
• Candidates must be based in Queensland or willing to relocate for the duration of the contract and any extensions.

Eligibility Requirements

• Must hold valid Australian working rights (citizen, permanent resident, or unrestricted work visa).
• Must be available to work onsite in Brisbane as outlined above.
